During development in Japan, an entire lot of denim was unintentionally sun exposed, resulting in uneven coloration that made it unsuitable for standard production. Rather than allowing the fabric to go to waste, the mill collaborated with a nearby Japanese dye house to carefully bleach the denim at the fabric stage. This process transformed the material
