Mitsurou Meimeisara, MediumA hand turned, rough edged coaster with a lovely curved organic shape. The beautiful grain of the wood is emphasised by the technique of yakisuga ita or gently charring the wood, traditionally done to preserve wooden cladding. This is then coated in a traditional beeswax lacquer to add another layer of lustre.
